Q. Does the Library have textbooks for classes?

Answer

Per our Collection Development Policy, the Library does not normally purchase textbooks that are assigned for classroom use. Exceptions are those which have earned a reputation as “classics” in their fields or when a textbook is the only or best source of information on a particular topic.

You may check whether the Library has a copy of your textbook by searching IUCAT, the library's online catalog. Additionally, some faculty place copies of their textbooks on reserve at the Circulation desk. To ask about a particular textbook, you may stop by the desk in the library, or call us at (765) 455-9513.

For assistance with eTexts through Canvas, please contact UITS Kokomo IT Training. They are located in room KA124 on the first floor in the library. You may also contact them via e-mail at kotrain@iu.edu or via phone at (765) 455-9589.
