Answer

Per our Collection Development Policy (PDF), the Library does not normally purchase textbooks that are assigned for classroom use. Exceptions are those which have earned a reputation as “classics” in their fields, or when a textbook is the only or best source of information on a particular topic.

You may check whether the Library has a copy of your textbook by searching IUCAT, the library's online catalog. Additionally, some faculty place copies of their textbooks on reserve at the Circulation/Reserves service desk. You may visit our service desk in the library or call the Circulation desk at (765) 455-9513 to find out whether we have a copy of the textbook(s) for your class.

For assistance with eTexts through Canvas, please contact UITS Kokomo IT Training. They are located on the first floor in the library in room KA124. You may also contact them via e-mail at kotrain@iu.edu or via phone at (765) 455-9589.
